Role Expectations
MDM Functional Lead for STIBO STEP Rollout
- Drive successful execution of MDM projects ensuring timely and accurate master data migration
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to align solution design with business requirements
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and translate business requirements into functional specifications within the STIBO STEP platform
- Define master data processes, data governance standards, and data quality frameworks
- Lead data migration activities including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
- Work closely with business stakeholders (Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, etc.) to understand data needs
- Support data modeling activities (attributes, hierarchies, relationships) from a functional perspective
- Ensure proper configuration of workflows, approvals, and business rules aligned with business processes
- Coordinate with technical teams for integrations (SAP S/4HANA and other systems)
- Participate in solution design discussions and provide functional inputs and best practices
- Plan and execute rollout activities as per defined checklist and timelines
- Conduct data validation, UAT support, and ensure business sign-off
- Monitor migration status and resolve data-related issues proactively
- Conduct training sessions for business users and ensure adoption of MDM processes
- Prepare status reports, documentation, and maintain knowledge repository
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in data management
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5–9 years of experience in Master Data Management / Data Governance
- Minimum 3+ years of functional experience in STIBO STEP
- Strong experience in data migration, data quality, and data governance processes
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA master data (Material, Customer, Vendor, etc.)
- Exposure to end-to-end MDM implementations and rollout projects
- Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive domain is a plus
