Steward/Waiter

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Steward/Waiter at The Shalimar Hotel, located in Mumbai. The Steward/Waiter will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, managing food and beverage service, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety regulations in the dining area.

• Experience in Customer Service and Communication to engage with guests professionally and courteously
• Skills in Food & Beverage and Food Service, including knowledge of menu items and service etiquette
• Basic understanding or interest in Cooking, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating teamwork and multitasking abilities
• Prior experience in the hospitality or food service industry is a plus
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
