Role Overview
The STEM Educator will be responsible for delivering engaging, student-centric STEM sessions in a virtual environment while ensuring strong learning outcomes and participation.
This role involves planning and executing interactive activities, guiding students through hands-on projects, and fostering curiosity and critical thinking. The educator will also contribute to continuous improvement of session quality, curriculum inputs, and overall program effectiveness.
This is a
high-impact teaching role that combines instructional delivery, activity design, and student engagement in a structured online learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- STEM Instruction & Session Delivery
- Deliver interactive and engaging STEM sessions in a virtual classroom environment.
- Explain concepts using practical, easy-to-understand approaches suited to different age groups.
- Encourage student participation, collaboration, and curiosity during sessions.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Project Planning & Activity Design
- Plan and conduct hands-on STEM activities and projects aligned with learning objectives.
- Design age-appropriate and skill-based activities that promote creativity and problem-solving.
- Continuously introduce variation in activities to maintain student interest and engagement.
- Adapt sessions based on student response and learning needs.
- Student Engagement & Learning Support
- Support students with different learning paces and abilities during sessions.
- Encourage exploration, questioning, and independent thinking.
- Monitor student understanding through informal assessments and interactions.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Program Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Observe session effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Incorporate feedback to enhance session quality and student experience.
- Contribute inputs towards curriculum enhancement and instructional practices.
- Maintain awareness of evolving STEM tools, kits, and learning methodologies.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth program execution.

- Maintain clear and professional communication with students and parents where required.
- Support events, demonstrations, and STEM-related initiatives.
- Program Support & Documentation
- Maintain records of sessions, activities, and student participation.
- Share relevant session updates, photos/videos (if applicable), and reports as required.
- Assist in tracking program effectiveness metrics such as engagement levels and feedback.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing
- Support onboarding and training of new instructors when required.
- Share best practices, activity ideas, and execution approaches with the team.
- Contribute to building a strong and consistent instructional framework.
- Safety, Compliance & Professional Conduct
- Ensure adherence to all child safety guidelines, including POSH and POCSO policies.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and student-friendly approach at all times.
- Follow all academic and operational guidelines set by the organization.
- Ensure ethical conduct and a safe learning environment for all students.
Selection Criteria
- Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Education, or a related STEM field.
- Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in teaching, training, or STEM instruction.
- Prior experience in EdTech, online teaching, or experiential learning environments is preferred.
- Experience in handling students across different age groups is an advantage.
- Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of core STEM concepts and hands-on learning approaches.
- Ability to design and deliver interactive and engaging sessions.
- Familiarity with STEM tools, kits, or platforms is preferred.
- Comfort with virtual teaching platforms and digital tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
