Job Description
3 to 8 years of experience with automotive OEM or equivalent in Steering system design and development.
In-depth experience on Steering System Parts product development process, supplier evaluation, tech review, DFMEA, DVP&R, control plan, PFMEA, PPAP.
Root cause analysis (Proactive & reactive methods) for parts under development and field return/warranty.
Knowledge of CATIA, UG NX/ Team Center.
Steering system sizing, performance, homologation.
Good understanding of functional science of Steering system pats for fatigue, NVH and stiffness
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
Vehicle assembly process knowledge and system and component tooling and process experience.
Knowledge on electrical parts (EPAS Motor selection, Understanding the failure modes, electronic part Integration)
Process knowledge of casting, press parts, Injection molding and forging.
