Steel Slitting Machine Operator

Job Location: - Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

• Qualification : Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineeringor equivalent qualification.
• Experience Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Steel Slitting / Coil Slitting operations.

Job Description:

• Operate and supervise Steel Slitting Machines for coils of minimum 0.75 mm thickness.
• Handle machine setup, production parameters, troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Monitor production, product quality, machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Mechanical & Electrical teams for maintenance and breakdown resolution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, quality, and production standards while reducing machine downtime.
• Strong practical knowledge of Steel Slitting Machines handling minimum 0.75 mm thickness coils.
