- Sound experience in EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) operations in carbon & alloy steel plants
- Experience in stainless steel making will be an added advantage.
- Needs to have good working knowledge about furnace refractory repair in hot and cold conditions.
- Independent handling of the shift during operation
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Shall be conversant in ERP and MS Office
- Shall have adequate know-how about the safety for EAF operations.
- Need to have good understanding on operations to reduce power consumption and yield improvement in the heat.
- Good know-how about the workplace management system.
- Shall have analytical mindset to address quality and operation issues.
- Should have experience working into LF/VD
Qualification - Diploma or BE (Metallurgy)
