We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented professional for the position of Statutory & Labour Compliances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory and labour laws in India, maintaining necessary documentation, and assisting in audits and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory and labour laws applicable in India.
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers and records as per legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with various labour laws.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of returns related to labour laws.
- Stay updated with changes in labour legislation and advise management accordingly.
- Coordinate with government authorities for inspections and audits.
- Provide guidance to the HR team on compliance-related queries and issues.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in statutory and labour compliance in India.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws including the Shops and Establishments Act, EPF, ESI, and the Industrial Disputes Act.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with compliance management software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
