Statutory Auditor (CA Fresher)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct statutory audits of financial institutions, primarily banks, in accordance with regulatory and accounting standards.
• Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable frameworks.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate risk management practices and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
• Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and reports in accordance with professional standards.
• Coordinate with client teams to obtain relevant information and resolve audit queries.
• Stay updated on changes in financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and auditing standards applicable to the banking sector.
