About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic
Statutory Audit Associate to join our Audit team. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to build a career in statutory audit, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting statutory audits for clients across various industries.
- Verify financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documents.
- Perform audit testing and prepare audit working papers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, auditing standards, and statutory regulations.
- Support the audit team in identifying financial risks and internal control weaknesses.
- Assist in preparing audit reports and management letters.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required audit information and documentation.
- Maintain accurate audit documentation and adhere to audit timelines.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and auditing concepts.
- Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) is Must.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- CA Qualified.
- 0-1 year of experience in Statutory Audit or Articleship/Internship experience is an added advantage.
