Experience
- 5 Plus Years of experience in relevant technology should have experience in Static Equipment (Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, Column, Storage Tanks) design and detail engineering.
- Should have knowledge of good engineering practices related to Static equipment design in Oil and Gas/Energy/Power/Food/Pharma industry
Technical Skills required
- PV Elite proficiency
- Knowledge of ASME, PED 5500, EN, AD 2000, and TEMA codes
- Awareness of mechanical design based on HTRI output design of tanks based on API 650 codes
Special Skills required
- Should be a team player with a proactive approach.
- Should have good communication and leadership skills.
- Should be able to work under pressure and manage deliveries on time.
- Should be able to work for extended time to ensure timely deliveries
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of mechanical design engineers responsible for designing various types of vessels, heat exchangers, columns, agitators, filters, and other static equipment.
- Design and engineer a diverse range of static equipment including vessels, heat exchangers, columns, agitators, and filters.
- Engage in client meetings to comprehend project specifications and ensure successful implementation.
- Prepare comprehensive PV Elite reports and collaborate with draftsmen to develop accurate GA and fabrication drawings.
- Execute mechanical designs in alignment with process requirements, design standards, and contractual obligations.
- Provide expert assistance to clients throughout the equipment manufacturing process, facilitating design modifications as needed.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and fabricators during project execution, ensuring clarity of scope and timely resolution of comments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate cost estimates for static equipment design projects.
- Offer technical guidance to mechanical draftsmen for drawing preparation and conduct thorough checks to ensure compliance with design specifications.
