Qualification: Diploma / B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 25 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and detail manufacturing drawings for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Reactors, and Process Equipment.
- Perform design calculations as per ASME Section VIII Div. 1, API 650, TEMA, and applicable codes.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and material requisitions.
- Review customer specifications, datasheets, PIDs, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Purchase, and Project teams for smooth project execution.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, inspection, and testing activities.
- Address shop-floor queries and prepare engineering change documents when required.
- Ensure drawings and documents are issued as per project schedules.
- Support customer discussions, technical clarifications, and drawing approvals.
- Maintain design records, calculations, and project documentation.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Tank, and Process Equipment Design.
- Familiarity with ASME Section VIII Div. 1, API 650, TEMA, and welding/fabrication practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and MS Office.
- Ability to prepare fabrication drawings, BOMs, and design calculations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred
- Experience in process equipment manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of PV Elite, Compress, AutoPIPE, or similar design software
