State Manager

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)
- Own end-to-end sales delivery and revenue growth at the state level
- Drive market expansion through deeper penetration of existing dealers and addition of new trade partners
- Build and manage strong trade relationships with dealers, distributors, and key channel partners
- Lead demand generation initiatives to improve secondary sales, offtake, and wallet share
- Drive influencer engagement (architects, contractors, builders) to generate sustained sales pull
- Monitor state-level sales KPIs including volumes, conversion, productivity, and closures
- Translate market intelligence into actionable sales and pricing strategies
- Ensure effective execution of trade schemes, promotions, and visibility programs
- Coach and manage field sales teams to deliver targets and improve sales effectiveness
- Coordinate with central sales and marketing teams for campaign rollout and execution
- Track lead flow, pipeline conversion, and closure performance across channels
Educational Background and Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree (MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred)
- 812 years of experience in front-end sales roles across retail / trade / channel sales
- Proven experience in managing dealers, distributors, and on-ground sales teams
