State Head (Vehicle Finance Experience Required)

Role Description The State Head (Vehicle Finance) will oversee and drive the vehicle finance business operations across the state, ensuring achievement of sales, portfolio quality, and profitability targets. This full-time on-site role, based in Bhubaneswar, includes managing branch networks, leading and mentoring teams, and developing and executing state-level business strategies. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with dealers, partners, and customers, monitoring collections and asset quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. The State Head will analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with senior leadership on planning, budgeting, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in vehicle finance or auto finance, preferably in an NBFC or banking environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-location sales and operations teams.
• Demonstrated ability in business development, dealer network management, and customer relationship management.
• Sound understanding of credit, collections, risk management, and regulatory compliance in retail lending.
• Comfortable working with data, MIS reports, and performance metrics to drive decisions and improvements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar and travel extensively within the state as required.
