Role Description The State Head (Telecom Industry) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The State Head will oversee telecom operations within the state, including planning, executing, and monitoring projects related to telecom solutions and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring state-level teams, setting performance targets, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring adherence to quality and service standards. The role involves building and managing relationships with key channel partners, driving sales growth, and expanding the company's telecom footprint in the region. The State Head will also analyze market trends, assist in strategic decision-making, and report on operational and financial performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong telecommunications and radio domain knowledge, with experience in telecom networks, services, or related solutions.
• Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Demonstrated team management skills, with experience leading diverse teams, setting goals, and driving performance.
• Proven sales experience in telecom or technology sectors, with the ability to develop strategies, close deals, and grow state-level business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with channel partners and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with aptitude for interpreting market data and operational metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a regional/state leadership role within the telecom or software solutions industry is highly beneficial.
