About the Role

The State Head – SEPL is a senior leadership role responsible for scaling the Business Loan & Self-Employed Professional Loan (SEPL) business across the designated state. This includes developing strategies to expand product offerings, customer segments, and distribution channels while ensuring cost-effective and technology-enabled delivery. The role involves building high-performing teams, robust systems, and a scalable culture. The incumbent will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Operations, Credit, IT, and BIU to deliver a seamless customer experience and position IDFC FIRST Bank as the preferred banking partner.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the SEPL business across the state to drive revenue growth and customer penetration.
  • Guide cross-sell product distribution to ensure volume scale-up in line with defined targets.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing team to enhance customer acquisition through digital channels.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key dealers, OEMs, and channel/product partners to increase portfolio penetration.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and quality and provide actionable insights to Product and Sales teams for course correction.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to develop differentiated offerings in the Business Loan category.
  • Work with the Business Analytics team to identify cross-sell opportunities and market potential.
  • Demonstrate ability to build, lead and motivate high-performing teams.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Foster a team culture focused on digital enablement to holistically meet customer needs.
  • Drive initiatives aligned with the bank's rapid growth targets and strategic objectives.

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Mentor and coach team members to instill values of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity.

  • Attract and retain top-tier talent to support the bank's growth ambitions.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Any discipline (Full-Time)
  • Postgraduation: MBA in Finance (Full-Time, Preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in lending, preferably in Self-Employed Professional Loans or Business Loans.

Skills and Attributes
