Job Title : - State Head(across PAN India)

We are looking for a seasoned leader to build, scale, and own our Insurance vertical from the ground up. This role carries full P&L responsibility and will shape the insurance strategy for a large, digitally engaged customer base in a fast-growing ecosystem.

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive health insurance business across the assigned state and achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners and key stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution channels.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the state-level sales and operations team.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to improve performance and productivity.
  • Set performance targets and monitor team achievements.

3. Channel Development

  • Develop and manage distribution networks including agents, partners, and corporate clients.
  • Strengthen partnerships with insurance companies and maintain strong coordination.

4. Compliance & Regulatory Management

  • Ensure all operations and business activities comply with IRDAI guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to company and regulatory policies.

5. Operational Excellence

  • Monitor sales performance, business reports, and MIS for the state.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, training, and support for partners and team members.
  • Address operational challenges and implement process improvements.

6. Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in the insurance industry with strong health insurance expertise

Experience in distribution / agency channel management

Proven track record in team handling and business development

Strong understanding of IRDAI guidelines and compliance
