Role Overview:
The State Head – GT Fresh will lead sales and distribution operations for fresh milk across Tamil Nadu, driving revenue growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the state-level growth agenda for the Fresh division by building a strong GT distribution netwrok, stregtheining market presence and delivering sustainable revenue growth
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape go-to market strategies, develop high-performing teams, and accelerate brand penetration across the state.
- Build strong relationships with external partners like supermarts, grocery chains, and independent retailers.
- Coach the sales team to deliver results and exceptional services.
- Own the state P&L and spearhead the expansion of the Fresh category across GT by building deep distributors partnership and execution excellence.
- Oversee logistics, inventory, and distribution efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Extensive senior-level experience in sales leadership (typically 15+ years).
- Strong background in FMCG, dairy, foods, or related consumer goods industries.
- Experience in large-scale organizations; multinational exposure valued.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools.
Technical Skills:
- Retail analytics and market trend analysis.
- Quality control systems for compliance and product freshness.
- Financial analysis for profitability and budget management.
- CRM expertise for customer and account management.
