Job Purpose
The
State Head Gold Loan is responsible for driving gold loan business growth across multiple channels within the assigned state. This includes identifying high-potential locations, expanding distribution networks beyond branch banking, and leading a team of dedicated sales professionals. The role demands strategic planning, operational excellence, and a strong focus on customer experience and portfolio quality.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify branches and potential locations for gold loan business through market surveys and competitive analysis of NBFCs and banks.
- Expand distribution channels by identifying and activating non-branch avenues for gold loan acquisition.
- Ensure productivity of Gold Loan Officers (GLOs), targeting a minimum of lakhs per month in new business and achieving 80% renewals on eligible customers.
- Recruit and manage dedicated gold loan personnel, including Gold Loan Officers, Territory Managers, and Area Sales Heads.
- Grow the Assets Under Management (AUM) for gold loan products while meeting revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets.
- Collaborate with the Product Head Business Loan to offer comprehensive funding solutions and ensure DSTs are appropriately incentivized.
- Ensure timely renewals of gold loan customers to retain and grow the customer base.
- Maintain strong relationships with valuers and valuation agencies, ensuring timely rotation and compliance.
- Train gold loan officers on fraud detection and identification of counterfeit ornaments.
- Design a seamless and fulfilling customer journey to enhance satisfaction and position IDFC FIRST Bank as the preferred banking partner.
- Ensure adherence to internal compliance and regulatory frameworks across all operations.
Education
- Graduation: Full time graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Minimum of years of experience in gold loan sales or related financial services within BFSI industry.
