  • Enhance file processing capabilities by implementing a robust credit strategy to minimize early delinquencies in regularly bouncing customers, closely monitoring behavior through tools like regional policies and a risk framework.
  • Achieve deeper market penetration in smaller regions by maintaining efficient turnaround times, aligning growth vision with the overarching goal to reach a portfolio value of 2 lakh crore.

Credit Underwriting Management

  • Training and development of the resources to implement defined risk framework , evaluation of the proposals, adherence to policy programs defined
  • Analyzing the impact of the decisions in the context of the external environment, internal portfolio triggers and bringing in the required changes to curtain down the risk in the portfolio.
  • Driving the portfolio control strategies in the different markets as per the performance of the market.
  • Keeping turned around time
  • Assessment of RCSA, timely submission of the responses along with the samples.
  • Responding to compliance team on adverse observation for the customers
  • Ensuring that the audit teams across like concurrent, PAR & external are responded on timely basis.
  • Work closely with the collection and legal to take action against defaulting parties

Process Improvements

  • Exploring process changes on ongoing basis to improvise & redefine process

Portfolio Management

  • Monitoring portfolio health through the tools like assessment of the segments through industry, sub-industry performance
  • Maintaining credit manager dashboard which covers various aspects like stage wise data, bounce trend for CM/location/region/zone etc
  • Implementation of simplified strategies like touch base the customers with frequent bouncing or visiting the customers wherever required.

Business Growth / Cross Functional Coordination / Stakeholder Management

  • Support sales team in maintaining partner relationshipswith DSAs and Channel Partners and regular visits and training to meet business results.
  • Communicate the expected credit standards by engaging with the channel partners, sales teams and other distributors in understanding the proposals submitted and extracting the relevant supporting information and Co-coordinating for smooth disbursement.
  • Discussing through the door login trend and educating the business team on wastages and corrective actions.
  • Be a part of formulation of business strategy and expansion, contribute through credit and risk strategies.

Leadership / Soft skills /Team Management

  • Devolvement of required skillset amongst the team members through continuous training and interactions.
  • Ensuring that the framework defined is followed and executed across layer to ensure that effective implementation of the policies.
  • Ensuring that the DSG framework is followed while creating layers in the function.
  • Creating and nurturing talent to ensure that the credit hierarchy is not dependent on only few resources.

  • Ensuring that the respective layers are created & adequate talent is identified and grown within the system.

5) Job Purpose of Direct Reports:Describe the job purpose of the direct report/s to the job (in 2-3 lines for each report)

Supply Chain Finance:

  • program & ensure that the proposals are compliant with all the norms of the Credit policy, RBI and other statutory regulations.
  • Responsible for regular monitoring of the credit portfolio and early warning triggers, to ensure management of asset quality.
  • To ensure that the process are designed well within framework to enable the fulfillment of regulatory framework.
  • Reviewing of anchor companies / anchor programs (vendor /dealer finance anchor programs) for Supply Chain Finance vertical sourced by Product Team
  • Recommend quality anchor programs thereby ensuring good quality portfolio and minimal level of NPAs
