Job Summary

• Responsible for ensuring the continuous availability, maintenance, and performance of stamping dies and tooling used in high-volume automotive manufacturing. Strive for zero tool downtime in production.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of stamping dies.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and carry out repairs.
• Set up, adjust, and optimize progressive and transfer dies.
• Support new tooling launches, transfers, and engineering changes.
• Fabricate and modify tooling components and spare parts.
• Perform die sharpening, fitting, and bench work.
• Support production with tooling-related troubleshooting.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and tooling documentation.
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Spares management as per high runners and low runners.
• Plan for productivity improvements by increase the SPM.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Tool & Die, Machine Tools, Mechanical Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of stamping toolroom experience.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with progressive and transfer stamping dies.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with lathes, grinders, milling machines, and precision measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools such as 5 Why and Ishikawa.
• Basic English proficiency.
