Position: Stamping Simulation (TT25ST RM 4475)

Job Description

We are looking for a Stamping Simulation Engineer with hands-on experience in PAMSTAMP for automotive sheet metal component development and manufacturability

assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform stamping simulations using PAM-STAMP for sheet metal components.
  • Analyze formability, thinning, wrinkling, splits, springback, and die-face design issues.
  • Support feasibility studies and manufacturing validation during product development.
  • Work closely with BIW, Tooling, Die Design, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Optimize stamping process parameters to achieve defect-free production.
  • Prepare technical reports and present simulation results to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with customers and cross-functional teams for design improvements.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in PAM-STAMP.
  • Good knowledge of sheet metal stamping processes and formability analysis.
  • Understanding of automotive BIW parts, tooling, and die development.
  • Experience in springback compensation and feasibility studies.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and automotive manufacturing processes.
  • Exposure to CATIA/NX is an added advantage.

Preferred Industry: Automotive OEMs / Tier-1 Suppliers
