Staff Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Development & Maintenance:

• Create and maintain comprehensive, accurate, and user-friendly product documentation and release notes.
• Review and refine customer-facing content, including UI copy and error messages, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Apply a docs-as-code approach to collaborate with engineers, PMs, and other stakeholders for content creation.

Content Improvement & Standardization:

• Continuously improve existing documentation for accuracy, structure, and readability.
• Contribute to style guides, templates, and content standards that ensure consistency across all documentation.
• Lead initiatives to evolve documentation best practices and maintain a unified voice and tone across all materials.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Partner closely with global engineering, product, and support teams to gather information and deliver precise documentation.
• Mentor junior writers and provide editorial feedback to elevate the overall quality of technical content.
• Act as a documentation advocate, ensuring user-centricity in all technical communication efforts.

Process Leadership & Innovation:

• Lead small to medium documentation projects from planning through execution.
• Use scripting, automation, and AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance documentation efficiency.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality content aligned with product releases and customer needs.
