Title: Senior Technical Program Manager
Job Description:
The stage/The Gig:
Technical Program Management at Flipkart entails executing programs that require collaboration
and decision making between multiple functions or groups.
The team executes a variety of programs of varying degrees of complexity. Large Programs, for
example, could be a multi-phased initiative that needs Product capabilities, changes in Business
Operations, Processes, Policies etc and often have high impact on both Customers and Sellers.
Your Role:
● Partner with Sponsor of a Project/Program to identify and define Success criteria.
● Plan out a process of execution which involves:
○ Identify stakeholders, work out a RACI, define scope, figuring out MVPs where applicable
○ sensible milestones and iterations for the project
○ driving SPOCs in multiple teams to collaborate and create a joint schedule.
○ holding SPOCs accountable for delivery.
○ identifying risks to Success and bubbling them up to relevant Leader's attention.
● Act as a Hub for all participating Teams, Functions, Disciplines.
○ Be able to react to situations and take decisions in the best interest of the
Program/Project.
○ Be the source of truth for any stakeholder w.r.t the Project.
Your Skills
● Ability to translate a problem statement into a set of Metrics that reflects each key stakeholders interest
● Experience driving DS & LLM models based programs
● Ability to be absorb ambiguity and be able to set clear goals for participating teams/SPOCs
● Ability to condense risks or new information into key essentials and informing relevant leaders for faster decision making.
● Ability to think critically
● Technology experience - of developing, testing and releasing products.
Your Experience
● 11+ years of overall experience with at least 7+ years of TPM experience
● MBA from a tier-1 college or university will be a plus

Role: Senior Technical Program Manager
Your Impact:
● Manage the tracking and delivery of 3-4 complex, multi-quarter technical projects spanning
many teams and stakeholders anchored within a cluster.
● Provide Objectives and Key Results (OKR) management, coordination, and support. Launch
review process coordination/support for one or more clusters
● Manage the execution within the Engineering team, identifying opportunities for process
overhead reduction/velocity improvement
● Evaluate and define the needs for additional tooling automation across our teams and
cross-functional stakeholders
● Communicate program objectives and strategic alignment to stakeholders with a variety of
technical and non-technical backgrounds
● Work cross-functionally with product and business teams to deliver amazing experiences
● Bring a high-level view from Program/Initiative execution to the business management team.
● Support product managers to manage and coordinate Go-to-Market (GTM) event launch
activities across departments (Full-Stack Engineering teams, Product, Marketing, Sales, etc.)
and ensure seamless market launch(es).
● Identify and manage cross-initiatives and cross-department dependencies, risks and issues.
● Track and report high-level view of the program's execution to senior management.
● Assist teams in managing initiative portfolios that map to the strategic objectives.
● Assist teams within one or more clusters in the quarterly initiative planning process,
chartering and information gathering.
● Assist teams with release coordination and product readiness.
● Work with the management and program leads to track and manage risk.
● Facilitate program performance/operations meetings and supports strategic alignment with
corporate objectives.
● Track and coordinate resolution of escalations.
● Contribute to organizational performance improvements (e.g. JIRA, dependency
management, quarterly planning, etc.) for one or more clusters.
● Conduct post-program evaluations with the ability to identify improvements for optimal
process flow.
● Stakeholder Management: ensure that program initiatives meet leadership and/or customer
expectations, timely communication/escalation to leadership.
● Ensures the senior management team is informed on program status and risks, and manages
initiative related escalations to resolution.

● Ability to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues.
● Ability to keep up with advancements in the field of technical product development.
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
