What Impact You'll Make
As a member of the Power IT oCIO organization you will act as a bridge between the business application owners and the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, you will assist in aligning technology initiatives with business needs, supporting the full application lifecycle from implementation to daily support
Job Description
What you'll do
- Business Partnership:Serve as a day-to-day liaison for application owners across the Power business unit, gathering and documenting business requirements and feedback for current and future technology solutions.
- Project Coordination:Lead and engage on tasks and administrative activities related to technology initiatives, such as tracking project status, managing documentation, and assisting with testing and deployment.
- CTO Office Collaboration:Support strategic efforts by preparing and presenting analyses to the CTO's office, translating complex business needs into technology language.
- Continuous Improvement:Lead and participate in process improvement projects, identifying opportunities and executing on process and tool improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for both application owners and the IT team. Champion a role as AI ambassador for your area of responsibility.
- Application Support:Assist with the coordination of application support, working with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by business users.
What You'll Bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience/knowledge.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and a basic understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
- Experience with a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus.
- A self-motivated and proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic tech environment.
