Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale high-performance backend systems using Python.
• Build compute and I/O-intensive applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Optimize application performance, resource utilization, and system throughput.
• Design solutions to handle high concurrency and large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable backend architectures.
• Build and maintain backend services utilizing databases such as Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
• Drive engineering best practices across coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

Must-have Skills

• 5+ years of backend software development experience using Python in production environments.
• Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and System Design.
• Experience designing and scaling compute-intensive and high I/O backend applications.
• Strong expertise in Distributed Systems, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse (or similar databases).
• Experience building scalable, highly available backend services.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, software development lifecycle, and engineering best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building fintech products or financial systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
