Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect large-scale, multi-cluster Kubernetes platforms supporting global workloads with high availability and resiliency
Define and execute control plane evolution strategies including federation, sharding, and zero-downtime upgrades
Build and optimize fleet management systems for workload orchestration, scaling, and resource efficiency
Develop frameworks for quota management, bin-packing, scheduling, and workload optimization
Implement enterprise-grade security architecture including zero-trust models, multi-tenant isolation, and compliance-driven controls
Integrate AI/ML and agentic AI systems for predictive scaling, anomaly detection, autonomous remediation, and intelligent operations
Lead technical roadmap planning for platform scalability, reliability, and cost optimization (FinOps practices)
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define platform standards, APIs, and operational models
Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple teams
Drive adoption of cloud-native best practices, automation, and infrastructure-as-code principles
Ensure platform observability using monitoring, logging, tracing, and telemetry systems
