We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to act as a technical leader and a highly experienced Full Stack Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. This role requires driving technical strategy and system architecture while maintaining hands-on coding responsibilities. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. On the backend, you will have the opportunity to help our product scale and be involved in the further architecture of the Sureify platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using React on the frontend and Golang/Typescript/PHP on the backend.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Build a scalable architecture to support millions of users.
• Design schema migrations, optimize complex queries, and manage data integrity in MySQL.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Work closely with the UI/UX designers and product managers.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack, from frontend rendering to database indexing.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in rigorous peer code reviews to ensure long-term system stability.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to developers.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.

Skills And Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade applications that deliver measurable business impact and exceptional user experiences.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang, specifically building microservices and handling concurrency.
• Strong experience in React & TypeScript, modern CSS frameworks (MaterialUI, Styled Components, CSS Modules), accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), and performance optimization.
• Full-stack development proficiency: relational data modeling, DB optimization, REST API design, JavaScript, CSS, and delivering APIs as a service.
• API design and lifecycle management: REST; versioning, pagination, rate limiting, and security best practices.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
• Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must have proven, hands-on experience working with AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms. Familiarity with AWS-specific ecosystem tools (SQS, S3, Parameter Store, RDS, ECS, ElastiCache, ALB).
• Familiarity with caching systems ex: Redis would be advantageous
