Job Description

We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer (7-10 years) who thrives in a hands-on environment, owns technical direction across teams, and leverages AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) as a core part of software delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Define architecture and technical direction across multiple services and teams.
  • Build and deliver scalable applications using C#/.NET, Java, Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
  • Design and operate microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Drive AI-first software development, using coding agents for design, development, testing, debugging, and code reviews.
  • Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards, best practices, and guardrails.
  • Own production systems end-to-end, including CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), observability, and performance.

What We're Looking For

  • 7-10 years of hands-on software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in C#/.NET, Java, or Node.js
  • Advanced React & TypeScript skills
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL/SQL Server
  • Proven track record of leading technical decisions across teams
  • Daily user of AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
  • Experience in FinTech, e-commerce, payments, checkout, billing, or consumer transaction platforms is highly preferred
