Staff Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipeline systems.
• Architect and optimize distributed systems to manage high-volume data under strict SLAs.
• Drive engineering excellence, set technical direction, and influence architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and maintainable software design.

Software Development & Delivery

• Build and enhance data connectors and core data pipeline components that process terabytes of customer data.
• Design and implement systems for automated, incremental, and clean data updates across multiple data sources.
• Contribute directly to code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Ensure high-quality standards in code, testing, and deployment processes.

Mentorship & Collaboration

• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and excellence.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and engineers to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
• Promote an innovative, high-performing, and customer-focused engineering culture.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Drive automation and efficiency within software development and operations.
• Champion best practices for cloud-based architectures, data management, and backend engineering.
