Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipeline systems.
- Architect and optimize distributed systems to manage high-volume data under strict SLAs.
- Drive engineering excellence, set technical direction, and influence architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and maintainable software design.
Software Development & Delivery
- Build and enhance data connectors and core data pipeline components that process terabytes of customer data.
- Design and implement systems for automated, incremental, and clean data updates across multiple data sources.
- Contribute directly to code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high-quality standards in code, testing, and deployment processes.
Mentorship & Collaboration
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and engineers to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
- Promote an innovative, high-performing, and customer-focused engineering culture.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive automation and efficiency within software development and operations.
- Champion best practices for cloud-based architectures, data management, and backend engineering.
