Job Title:Staff Software Engineer
Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore

Our Retail Technology organization provides end-to-end IT management, planning, change and delivery for the Bank's critical retail customer channels (branch, digital, ATM and contact centre), core product and origination systems. We are accountable for the current and future health of the applications within the portfolio, supporting the internal customers that use these applications and ensuring they evolve to meet changing business needs.
Day to day, you will be involved in designing and implementing effective solutions across a variety of products and services. You will also help ensure that our customer service teams have the technology tools available to provide our customers with world-class end-to-end banking experience with CommBank, 24/7.
Impact &contribution:
As a Staff Software Engineer at Commonwealth Bank, you will define and facilitate delivery of technology solutions against the group's architecture strategy, including design and uplift of our system architectures. We strive for simple, intuitive, scalable and robust solutions, delivering the best experience for our customers and staff. Your role will prove critical in helping our business stakeholders and delivery teams understand how to execute their portfolio of work in alignment with the group strategy.
A key challenge will be balancing initiative constraints against the broader architecture objectives and risk appetite of the group. This role will suit someone with previous experience delivering complex technology projects involving multiple teams and technology domains.

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
