Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with testing, and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience with full stack development, across the back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Ability to build 0-to-1 team, and take a project from idea to production.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work with User Experience (UX), PM, and front- end or back-end engineers.

The team mission is to enable Google employees to enhance products and services with Machine Learning (ML) by providing Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) platform. We own and operate a multitentant ML-as-a-service platform used by Google product teams to build and launch Generative AI (GenAI)-powered products. Responsibilities
- Create journeys that take otherwise complicated and fragmented AI workflows to make them simple. Partner with the team containing front-end, infrastructure, and modeling expertise. Collaborate across the stack and deliver AI capabilities to the Google ecosystem.
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers. Work with researchers and modeling/infrastructure experts to democratize AI techniques and make them accessible to advanced users.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with User Experience Researcher (UXR), User Experience Designer (UXD), Product Managers (PM) to build end-to-end experiences for user journeys. Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
