Staff Software Engineer AI in
India.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced AI agent systems for enterprise-scale applications. You will work on cutting-edge multi-agent AI platforms, including LLMs and SLMs, to deliver intelligent automation and real-time business insights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AI solutions. Your work will impact millions of daily transactions and directly contribute to measurable business value. This is a highly technical, hands-on role in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.
- Accountabilities
- Lead architecture and implementation of production-scale AI agent systems and orchestration frameworks.
- Optimize deployment strategies for LLMs and SLMs using fine-tuning, quantization, and distillation techniques.
- Develop multi-modal AI systems for document understanding, semantic retrieval, and long-context processing.
- Build secure, scalable, and multi-tenant microservices with real-time observability and monitoring.
- Design and maintain data pipelines for training, synthetic data generation, and RLHF/RLAIF feedback loops.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for AI system development.
- Implement cost optimization strategies, fallback mechanisms, and multi-provider redundancy.
- Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in production AI/ML systems.
- Expertise in Python, PyTorch/JAX, and AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Transformers.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) and SLMs (Phi, Llama, Mistral), including fine-tuning and optimization.
- Proficiency in distributed systems, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, SageMaker, Bedrock), and GPU/edge deployments.
- Experience with vector databases, RAG architectures, streaming systems, and real-time inference.
- Knowledge of security measures for AI systems, including prompt injection prevention and jailbreak detection.
- Preferred: experience with supply chain systems, document intelligence, OCR pipelines, GraphRAG, MoE architectures, and enterprise compliance.
