Staff Software Development Engineer (Backend) - Subs & Pay

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems for subscriptions and payments.
• Lead development of core components such as subscription state machine, payment orchestration layer, retry engine, and entitlement services.
• Ensure APIs and services perform with low latency and high throughput, scaling to millions of users across geographies.
• Build systems with strong observability, monitoring, and incident response capabilities.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt relevant technologies to improve platform capabilities.
• Influence and lead architecture and design discussions within the team.
• Mentor and guide team members to uphold technical standards and excellence.
