Job Overview
The Staff Design-for-Reliability Engineer will support development teams across assigned R&T projects to ensure reliability is designed into DDN products. The role involves close collaboration with internal engineering teams and, when required, customers to execute reliability plans aligned with the stage-gate development process.
From design verification through product validation, the Staff Engineer will plan, execute, and analyze reliability tests, including accelerated and stress-based methods such as HALT and HAST. Based on test data, the engineer will identify potential reliability risks, failure modes, and weak design or process elements, and work with cross-functional teams to support corrective actions.
The role emphasizes hands-on reliability engineering, data analysis, and application of structured reliability methodologies (e.g., DFSS, Robust Design) to support data-driven decisions and ensure DDN products meet reliability and customer requirements.
