We are seeking a skilled QA Lead to join our Product QA division. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating quality control methods and systems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products across multiple SaaS/cloud applications.
Scope of Role / Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and evaluate quality control methods and systems.
- Lead functional and automation testing activities.
- Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and best practices.
- Contribute to ongoing automation by developing new test scripts and executing test suites.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team on escalations and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Multi-task across products, projects, and non-project assignments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Lead a technical team of 34 QA engineers and mentor junior team members.
- Act as a process gatekeeper to ensure adherence to QA standards and highlight deviations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in test case development and test execution.
- Deliver test strategies, test plans, test execution, and regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery by identifying defects early and providing actionable feedback.
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- B.E/B.Tech in a relevant discipline.
- 710 years of overall experience in QA, preferably in SaaS/cloud product environments.
- Solid knowledge of QA techniques, testing concepts, methodologies, test management tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience in API/Microservices Testing and Contract Testing.
- Exposure to REST API automation (mandatory) and UI automation (preferred).
- Experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or CRM platforms like Salesforce (good to have).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies; certifications like CSTE, CSQA, or ISTQB are a plus.
