Primary job title: Staff Nurse (Registered Nurse)
About The Opportunity
A clinical healthcare role within the outpatient & primary care clinic sector, delivering hands-on patient care and nursing services across routine and urgent-care settings. This on-site position is based in India and supports high-quality, patient-centered care at a busy clinic environment focused on safety, infection control, and compassionate service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring, patient assessment, triage, and documentation for outpatient and minor procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies safely following physician orders and clinic protocols.
- Perform wound care and dressing changes, support minor procedure assistance, and escalate complications promptly.
- Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques; ensure sterilization of instruments and proper disposal of clinical waste.
- Accurately record patient histories, treatment notes, and handovers in paper or electronic medical records; support discharge instructions and patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians, lab staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, timely patient care and follow-up.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Valid nursing qualification (Diploma/Graduate in Nursing) and current registration with the relevant State Nursing Council.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated competency in patient assessment and triage.
- Medication administration and injection techniques.
- IV cannulation and infusion therapy skills.
- Wound care and dressing skills; knowledge of infection control/aseptic techniques.
Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Phlebotomy skills.
