Training and Development
Program Participation: Participate in and contribute to scheduled in-service training programs like ACLS, BLS, PALS, NALS (if applicable), CNEs, conferences, etc.
Functional Area Responsibility
Cardiovascular Care: Perform Cardiovascular assessments and handle cardiac monitors.
Neurological Assessment: Assess and interpret Intra Cranial Pressure and Glasgow Coma Scale.
Post-operative Care: Provide Haematoma management and post-operative care.
Ventilator Management: Provide nursing management for patients on ventilators.
Calculations: Manage IV fluid calculations and drug calculations.
Line Management: Ability to take care of Intravenous lines and Central lines.
Suctioning: Perform Endotracheal and oral suctioning.
Protocols: Awareness of DVT prophylaxis and FAST HUG protocols.
Assistance: Assist with pacemaker insertion and different modes of oxygenation.
ABG Interpretation: Interpret Arterial Blood Gas values.
Thrombophlebitis: Manage thrombophlebitis and provide nursing management.
Drainage & Documentation: Perform drainage, ROMOVAC drain monitoring, and intake and output documentation.
Narcotics Management: Handle the storage, administration, and disposal of Narcotics.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Registration: Valid registration in the State Nursing Council from where B.Sc. Nursing / GNM was completed.
Experience: Freshers / candidates with 1 or 2 years of experience
