Role Title: Staff Nurse (B.Sc./GNM)
About The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Staff Nurse to join a busy, onsite multispeciality hospital team in West Maredpally, Secunderabad. This is a rotational role operating on 8hour shifts across wards, emergency and specialty units. The ideal candidate delivers compassionate, protocoldriven nursing care, supports multidisciplinary teams and maintains high standards of clinical safety and documentation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care: perform assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications and manage IV therapy per hospital protocols.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes and maintain aseptic technique to prevent infections.
- Respond to emergencies and participate in resuscitation (BLS) and rapid response activities when required.
- Coordinate care with physicians, allied health and support staff to ensure timely treatment and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in patient charts and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Adhere to infection control, safety policies and participate in quality improvement and training sessions.
Skills & Qualifications
MustHave
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM Diploma (validated) and current registration with the State Nursing Council.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proven experience working in a multispeciality hospital or acute care setting with rotational shift exposure.
- Strong clinical skills: vital signs monitoring, medication administration, IV cannulation, wound care.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records and accurate nursing documentation.
- Ability to work 8hour rotational shifts, onsite at West Maredpally, Secunderabad.
Preferred
- Advanced certifications: ACLS or PALS.
- Experience in ICU, Emergency or HighDependency Units.
- Training in infection control, catheter care or specialty nursing courses.
