We are seeking a Staff Firmware Validation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware validation and embedded systems, with a focus on developing and executing test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for firmware validation on embedded systems.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback on firmware performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve firmware issues.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Review firmware design specifications and provide input for improvements.
- Document test cases, results, and findings in a clear and concise manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-12 years of experience in firmware validation or embedded systems testing.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and firmware development.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of hardware testing methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
