Staff Engineer, Product Design and Engineering - Electrical

Partner with the best

As Staff Electrical Engineer within the Electrification CoE organization, you will be leading electrical engineering activities of highly challenging programs, acting as key reference for internal and external stakeholders.


Specifically, you will be accountable for the following key activities:

  • Leading electrical design activities at plant level, including MCC, switchgears, substations, cables, transformers electrical protection systems, batteries and UPS's etc.
  • Ensure performance excellence by driving efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and budget compliance
  • Coordinate junior colleagues and outsourcing engineering resources to balance workload flexibility while ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Providing support to other disciplines, procurement and project management
  • Participating in meetings with Customers / Suppliers as per project needs

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a master's degree in electrical engineering
  • Proven technical leadership experience within electrical engineering organizations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse functions and organizational levels.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, enabling proactive resolution of complex technicalchallenges.

Differentiating background considered as a plus:

  • Experience in power generation applications and prefabricated power distribution rooms (LER, E-houses)
  • Proficiency in power system studies, ETAP, DigSilent PF or PSCAD software
  • Experience in offshore power generation and distribution
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Area electrical solutions and associated standards
  • Experience in electrical Balance of Plant design, according to IEC and IEEE/UL standards
  • Knowledge of Power Management Systems
