Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Android camera stack on Linux platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define camera feature requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize camera performance issues and bugs in the camera stack.
- Implement camera driver support for various imaging sensors and platforms.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers in best practices for Linux kernel and Android development.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in camera technology and Linux/Android frameworks.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-15 years of experience in Linux kernel development and Android framework.
- Strong knowledge of camera hardware interfaces and image processing algorithms.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience with Android development tools and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with multimedia frameworks such as Camera HAL, OpenCV, and GStreamer.
- Understanding of Linux device drivers and kernel modules specific to camera systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
