The company seeks a highly skilled and self-motivated Lead Developer to join our Enterprise Engineering team under Solution Delivery Services (IT dept.). The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent understanding of C++, MS COM, MS SQL Server technology and a strong work ethic. Lastly, you work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints.
The individual would be expected to understand business needs, design, develop/enhance, deploy existing windows or web based Mortgage Servicing applications.
In addition it is good to have a hands-on experience on Web Server (Wildfly), Java EE(JSP, Servlet, EJB, understanding MVC design pattern)
Job Function And Responsibilities
Work with Mortgage Servicing Operations Unit to understand the new features/enhancements needed on existing windows based (C++) application.
Design and develop the workflows per the BRD and have working sessions with the operating units for explaining the proposed flows
Work with vendors and product support SME's to discuss the impacts on existing features due to planned enhancements
Collaborate with internal Business teams, Business Analysts, and IT teams to understand the cross-functional and cross-application impacts
Lead and manage vendor dev/application support team of 1-2 members.
Develop/automate unit tests, facilitate code reviews, use Github copilot to accelerate the development cycle
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business users as needed.
Log, track, and manage system defects and ensure timely resolution.
Work with Change Management team to raise production deployment requests
Qualifications
Expert in C++, MS COM, MS SQL Server with knowledge on Web Server (Wildfly), JAVA EE
8+ years of experience in designing and developing Windows based software with at-least 3+ years of team leading experience
Expert in C++, MS SQL Server, MS COM technology, Desktop application deployments, and Windows Registry
Hands-on experience (or awareness) with Web Server (Wildfly), Java EE(JSP, Servlet, EJB, understanding MVC design pattern)
