Seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer with 5-7 years of expertise to lead design and development of evaluation kits and reference designs for Infineon Microcontrollers, including advanced edge computing and control series.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
:
- Lead development of evaluation and reference design for MCUs and Radio devices.
- Create complex schematics using Cadence tools (OrCAD, Allegro), manage PCB layout, prototype testing, and ensure industry compliance.
- Perform bring-up, testing and debugging of boards including signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Interface with stakeholders and derive system architecture and technical documentation.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- 5-7 years hardware design experience with proven product launches.
- Experience with microcontroller-based design and industrial control systems design
Technical Expertise:
- Advanced proficiency in Cadence tools (OrCAD, Allegro)
- Digital and analog circuit design expertise including basic serial communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, USB and advanced protocols like SDHC, MIPI, etc.
- Solid understanding of power electronics circuits and topologies including regulator design and drive controls.
- Strong understanding and real-time control systems including motor control.
- Proficient with lab instrumentation for hardware debugging and validation.
- Good understanding of designs involving Radio devices
Professional Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for systematic root cause analysis and sound technical decision
- Proven leadership and communication skills to mentor engineers, leads technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects with measurable results
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with programming languages, such as C, C++, or Python.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including FCC, CE, and RoHSz.
