Qualification : Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Full - Time)
Experience : 3 - 5 years
Designation : Junior Engineer / Assistant Engineer
Experience in Chemical Industry will be preferred.
Job Description
1) Safety and Compliance
- Follow work permit system, Tool box talk and work instruction and PPEs compliance to ensure zero risk to the self, Equipment, plant and unit.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including lockout/tag-out practices.
- Ensure that all personnel follow safe work practices and utilize appropriate safety devices and PPEs.
- Report any unsafe act, Near miss, or unsafe condition to shift engineer/Engineer.
2) Execute & Perform the different maintenance activities of the plant as per planning.
- Timely report to Shift Engineer/Engineer when arriving to duty.
- Handover and Takeover proper charge from reliever for ongoing maintenance activity.
- Receive Work Permit from Engineer and Return after work completion.
- Plan with Shift Engineer about Spares and Tools needed for maintenance activity and maintain properly.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, 5S in workshop and at work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment including LLF and Preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Report shift engineer for any abnormalities in the equipment and correct it with proper work permit.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with the equipment.
- Work with other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance on equipment.
3) Record Keeping and Data Collection
- Perform PM as per check list, fill all activity performed and any observations.
- Inform daily work performed to Shift engineer to maintain details in log book, History card and breakdown record.
