About The Team
The Staff Consulting Architect – Automation will join the Professional Services team at Nutanix, located in Bangalore. This cohesive team is dedicated to driving automation-led transformation initiatives across enterprise customers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. The mission of the Professional Services team is to empower organizations by delivering tailored automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes, ensuring customer success and satisfaction.
You will report to the Director, Professional Services, who champions a leadership style that emphasizes mentoring, open communication, and empowering team members to excel in their roles. The work setup for this position is hybrid, requiring the hire to attend the office a few days each week, allowing for both in-person collaboration and flexible remote work.
This role does not require travel, providing the opportunity to focus on local customer engagements and project delivery without the need for extensive commuting.
Your Role
- Lead automation discovery and design workshops with enterprise customers to identify business requirements.
- Design and architect scalable automation frameworks across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Execute complex deployments and integrations involving platforms such as Nutanix, AWS, and Azure.
- Develop and optimize infrastructure-as-code and automation pipelines to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Establish best practices, governance, and standards for automation solutions within the organization.
- Mentor and enable team members on automation frameworks, tools, and industry best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across multiple teams, ensuring alignment on automation strategies.
- Contribute to the enhancement of internal assets, including playbooks and reference architectures.
What You Will Bring
- 10–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, and automation
- Strong hands-on expertise with Nutanix, Ansible, and Terraform
- Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python or PowerShell
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience conducting customer-facing workshops and technical discussions
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical automation solutions
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and API integrations
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
