Zenith is the AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) agency for technical companies. We help brands like ClickHouse, Render, and MotherDuck show up when developers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity what to use.
Our team combines ex-Google Search ranking and ex-Confluent GTM engineering experience. We sit at the intersection of AI search, organic growth, technical content, and workflow automation.
The Role
Full-stack here means more than frontend and backend. It means owning the entire business loop for a client: understanding their market, identifying opportunities, building the systems, shipping the content, and measuring what works.
You'll start in execution (months 1-3), then move into strategy and client ownership over time.
Who You Will Work With
You will work directly alongside the founders. We are a team of repeat founders with a track record of building and scaling world-class AI and growth systems at Uber, Google, Confluent, Dropbox, and Meta. We are combining this engineering-first experience to build an AI-enabled service from the ground up. Expect high standards, fast shipping, and direct, transparent communication.
What You'll Do
- Run and optimize AI systems: Debug and improve existing AI workflows for research, strategy, and content generation.
- Build from scratch: Create new workflows, scripts, agents, and evaluations when existing ones fall short of our quality bar.
- Automate workflows: Turn repeated manual work into reliable, measurable, and scalable systems.
- Drive client strategy: Understand each client's product, market, buyers, and goals deeply enough to develop a highly calibrated taste for what they would be proud to publish.
- Identify opportunities: Build topic strategies using competitive research, SEO signals, and emerging AEO opportunities.
- Act as the quality gatekeeper: Review technical content for accuracy, clarity, positioning, and voice. You will own QA end-to-end before anything ships.
- Consult and push back: Advise clients on best practices and be confident enough to push back when a strategy or piece of content won't work.
Who You Are
A strong generalist engineer who's comfortable with ambiguity, customers, code, and content.
- You read a lot. Technical docs, developer blogs, competitor material, Reddit, Hacker News. You have opinions about what makes technical content credible and useful. A writing portfolio is a plus. At minimum, you'd call yourself a reader.
- You can talk to customers. Ask sharp questions, understand what they actually mean, and translate it into strategy and execution.
- You operate without a playbook. High agency, comfortable figuring things out.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science from IITs, IIITs, NITs, BITS, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Strong backend foundation, with hands-on experience across backend systems, APIs, and production environments.
- Solid coding ability specifically geared toward internal tools, workflow automation, and AI-assisted systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication
