Role - Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities
Global Accounting Support
Support accounting operations for multiple domestic and international entities
Ensure consistency in accounting processes and financial reporting standards across
portfolio companies
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners across time zones as required
Full-Cycle Accounting & Month-End Close
Support and participate in the monthly close process
Prepare and post assigned journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
Location: Hyderabad India
Own designated balance sheet accounts, including reconciliation, variance analysis, and
resolution of discrepancies
Assist in preparation of financial reporting schedules and supporting documentation
Collaboration with AP & Cross-Functional Teams
Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate expense coding and
proper period recognition
Review transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and GAAP
Escalate complex accounting matters to Senior Accountants while independently
resolving routine issues
Compliance & Audit Support
Assist in annual audit processes by preparing supporting documentation and responding
to auditor requests
Support domestic and international compliance requirements, including coordination with
external advisors as needed
Assist in preparation of tax-related schedules and filings where applicable
Process Improvement & Systems
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
Support system enhancements and data integrity within accounting platforms
Contribute to documentation and standardization of accounting procedures across entities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
Experience in multi-entity or global environments preferred
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Experience with NetSuite and/or AppFolio preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
