The Role
We're hiring a Staff Accountant with 34+ years of QuickBooks full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, along with exposure to multi-entity consolidations and exposure to multi-entity consolidations, US tax compliance, and UK VAT filings. This is a hands-on role owning close processes, reconciliations, AP workflows, and financial reporting support in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
What You'll Do
- Own month-end close: journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounting in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and ensure clean books for reporting
- Support multi-entity consolidations, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and roll-up reporting
- Manage Accounts Payable operations: vendor onboarding, invoice coding, approvals, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies
- Support US tax compliance exposure: 1099s, sales & use tax support, compliance documentation, and tax reporting schedules
- UK VAT filings & UK accounting exposure (VAT returns, VAT reconciliations, UK compliance support)
- Assist with audit support, reporting schedules, and financial documentation
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (Good to have)
- QuickBooks full-cycle accounting (must-have)
- Strong preference for SaaS accounting experience
- Consolidations / multi-entity accounting exposure
- US tax filings exposure (34+ years preferred) 1099s, sales tax support, compliance documentation, etc
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, structured schedules)
