Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in general accounting. This role involves end-to-end accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, report generation, and assisting in financial statement preparation. You will be expected to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders, so strong English communication skills are essential.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
- Generate financial and operational reports as required
- Assist in financial statement (FS) preparation and month-end closing activities
- Support accounting cleanup projects and other ad hoc initiatives
- Communicate professionally with internal departments and external parties (e.g., auditors, vendors, customers)
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in general accounting
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated problem identification and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite is mandatory
- Experience in US Accounting.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Must be a CA or CPA
- Comfortable working night shifts aligned with U.S. business hours
- Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and power backup for uninterrupted remote work
