Ensure functionality, accessibility, and security of the Tableau platform.
- Tableau server utilization patterns for users, dashboard usage, and Extracts.
- Tracks and reports system performance metrics based on tableau usage.
- Monitors and analyzes system performance for optimal performance daily.
- Setup and monitor row-level security/user authorization with or without database objects.
- Develops data extracts or facilitates real-time connections to data sources
- Provide Tableau design best practices to Tableau creators, interactors, and viewers
- Develop high-efficiency workbooks including modeling within the semantic layer
- Troubleshoot performance issues and provide recommendations/fixes for identified issues.
- Recommends and implements continuous improvement and automation of daily tasks.
- Reviews troublesome workbooks and data sources and provides suggestions to users for improvements.
- Interfaces with Tableau developers and provides support for publishing and troubleshooting Tableau components.
- Interfaces with Tableau support to troubleshoot any product issues and enhancements.
- Interfaces with storage, server, authentication, database, and other teams to support ongoing operations in BI and Database operations.
- Executes actions necessary to achieve and maintain optimum Tableau platform performance, reliability, and availability of tableau systems.
